Dumbarton Football Club - Sons of the Rock 1872

GAFFER PUZZLED AT LOSS

Wednesday 3rd March 2010

IT was a clearly disappointed Jim Chapman who faced the press following last night's match at Peterhead.

He said : "Some of the football we played was fantastic. The opportunities we created were fantastic, but the problem is that we're not ruthless enough in front of goal.

"We totally domnated the game apart from the first 15 minutes and we played football all around them with numerous chances.

"Not being ruthless in the final third gave them hope and they sucker punched us and we travel back home pointless.

"I am so disappointed for my team. They did everything that was asked of them but lacked that bit of luck needed.

"We just need to pick ourselves up and bounce back."

Sons next match is this Saturday against Brechin City at SHS, kick-off 3pm.
