Dumbarton Football Club - Sons of the Rock 1872
DERBY DRAW
Wednesday 28th July 2010
A LATE equaliser by Martin McNiff saved Dumbarton a draw from tonight's friendly at home to Clydebank.
The first half was a non-event before the Bankies took the lead six minutes after the restart.
After Alan Cook handled in the area, a penalty was awarded. Michael White brilliantly saved from Steven Dymock, but Mark Hailstones was first to the loose ball and scored.
However, substitute McNiff crashed in a 20-yard shot with two minutes remaining to share the spoils. The young midfielder is pictured celebrating his strike.
