YDI DFC TRIALS

PLANS are underway at DFC relating to season 12/13 in our youth department and we have news of an important part of those preparations from Jim Chapman.

Speaking to the official website yesterday, the Sons director of youth football wanted to clear up some confusion regarding dates for trials.

He said : "The trials will definitely NOT take place next week.

"We did indicate at a recent DFDL meeting that we would try and organise during easter holidays however this will definitely not happen.

"We are awaiting confirmation regarding accessing suitable facilities and everything is delayed until at least after 12 April due to a meeting of all SFL Clubs to discuss new guidelines and directives from SFA.

"We will be contacting the kids directly when trial details are finalised hopefully as soon as possible after 12 April meeting."
