SONS highest finish in the Scottish Football League since 2004 was achieved yesterday at Stirling and Dumbarton fans enjoyed every colourful minute.
The last away day of the season is traditionally a dress-up day and the Sonstrust buses were full of supporters getting into the party spirit.
Robbi Docherty. pictured below as Abba's 5th singer said : "It was a great day and it was fantastic to see all our fans enjoying themselves.
"There was a real buzz on the trip to Stirling and inside the ground we all sang our hearts out in support of the team.
"It's been a great season and finishing third is a great achievement. Well done to the team and the manager too.
"We'll be having a big party at the Abbotsford next Saturday night where we can celebrate with the players properly!"
Fans also paid tribute to popular striker Pat Walker with many wearing face-masks with the image of the Sons No 11's face.
