Safety Announcement
Dumbarton Football Club wants every spectator irrespective of age, gender, colour or creed to enjoy their visit to our stadium.
We cannot promise that your team will win but we will make every effort to ensure that the vast majority of fans will not have their day spoiled by the minority.
Stewards have been briefed on the club policy which forbids: -
(1) Standing in seated areas
(2) Smoking in any part of the stadium
(3) Continual use of foul or abusive language in any form
(4) Any comments direct or indirect related to racism or bigotry.
Any person(s) who are in breach of the club policy will be approached by stewards, reminded of the club policy and requested to comply.
Failure to do so will result in them being asked to leave the stadium or subsequent police involvement.
Spectators who witness any such behaviour are requested to notify the nearest steward.
The club also operate a grievance procedure for spectators who have cause for concern or complaint regarding the behaviour of any steward. Any such issue should be brought to the attention of the Chief Steward, if not satisfied with the response details should be submitted in writing to the club Safety Officer for investigation.
