Biography

Andy rejoined Dumbarton from Queen of the South in a loan deal until the end of the season.

Andy signed a full-time contract with his local club St Mirren at 16 years-old but was released by the Buddies three years later.

Next he signed for second division Stenhousemuir and made over 40 appearances in two seasons, before moving to local rivals East Stirlingshire.

He was with the Shire for two seasons, including a brief spell with Washington State club Kitsap Pumas.

He returned to Scotland in July 2013 and signed for League One club Stranraer. After an impressive season at Stair Park he was included in the 2013–14 Scottish League One Team of the Year.

Next he was given the option to return to full-time football at Dunfermline Athletic, becoming the Pars manager Jim Jefferies' third signing of the 2014 close season. After 15 appearances he was sent out on loan to Stirling Albion, and an unsuccessful season with the Pars he was released.

Andy signed once again for Stranraer and was there for a season before joining Dumbarton on a one-year contract. He soon became a fans favourite.

After impressing during the 2016-17 season versus Queen of the South, Stirling signed a pre-contract with the Dumfries club then agreed a two-year deal from the summer of 2017.
