Dumbarton Football Club - Sons of the Rock 1872

Thursday 16th May 2019

SUPPORTERS are continuing to make their presence felt at the C&G Systems Stadium by buying a brick for the wall in the home concourse.

The wall, which made its debut in Dumbarton's final home fixture of the season against Stranraer, now has 338 spaces claimed out of a target of 400.

The push is now really on to ensure it reaches that target figure, and project manager Jordan Brownlee is appealing to those who haven't already bought a brick to get them while they can.

At only 20 per brick, supporters can ensure they, or somebody close to them, can have a lasting legacy at the stadium.

Jordan said: "It's encouraging that we're almost there - but it's like everything else in football; the job isn't finished until it's fully over the line.

"We'd love to reach the target of 400 by the time next season kicks off and, if possible, by the end of June.

"So if you haven't bought a brick already, for yourself or a friend or relative, we hope it is something you will consider doing.

"The club really appreciates all the shows of support it has had so far."
