Dumbarton Football Club - Sons of the Rock 1872

ANOTHER CHALLENGE AHEAD FOR SONS

Friday 12th November 2021

DUMBARTON are back at home tomorrow, with Falkirk visitors to the Moreroom.com Stadium in an important game for the two sides.

Having already won at the Falkirk Stadium back in September, Sons are looking to make it a double over the Bairns, who go into the game unbeaten in three matches.

However, manager Stevie Farrell is in no doubt that sharper finishing will be needed if his men are to take another three points.

With the chance to potentially move up a place in the division, the gaffer hopes for a response to the late disappointment against Clyde last week.

He said: "We only had ourselves to blame that we didn't take all three points against Clyde. We gave ourselves the opportunity to win by scoring so late and just had to see the rest of the game out.

"That, though, is in the past now, and our focus is on the challenge in front of us tomorrow, which will be another tough one.

"We know from the first meeting this season that we are capable of competing with Falkirk, but we also know what a challenge they will give us.

"The players are continuing to work hard to get us back to winning ways, and if we can get chances put away when they come along, we'll give ourselves a decent chance.

"We're looking forward to the game and we're keen to send our supporters home happy."

Once again, Ryan McGeever and Kristoffer Syvertsen miss out through injury. Otherwise a full squad is available to the manager.

Bar 72 will be open before the game, allowing supporters to enjoy a pre-match refreshment ahead of kick-off.

The bar and club shop can accept payments by card, and programme sales at the home end can also now be conducted in this way.

However, turnstiles (for those paying on the day), food kiosks and away end programme sales remain cash only. If you intend to use any of these then please ensure you are carrying some cash.

If you can't make the game, then live streaming is available.

There will also be in-play Twitter commentary on our feed @DumbartonFC, and a report and reaction will be online as soon as possible after the final whistle.

Chris Graham the referee for tomorrow's game, and will have assistance from Graeme Leslie and Kevin McElhinney.
